Summers Henderson edited this feature-length documentary, along with director Nick Beaulieu and editor Jordan Montminy. "My Omaha" tells the story of Nick's exploration of racial segregation in the city of Omaha. Nick's engagement with social and political issues becomes more personal when his politically conservative father Randy is diagnosed with cancer and the two are motivated to confront their own divisions.
"My Omaha" premiered at Slamdance Film Festival and received national theatrical distribution as part of the In Real Life Movie Club, which fosters audience discussion of timely documentary films.
